Accent lighting can be created using a range of different lighting fixtures from fiber optics, metal halides and LED. The most commonly used lights for accent lighting come in the form of halogen lights. These are a popular choice as they produce a strong, white light which provides great coverage of light for a room and can often be bought in bulk for a lower price. However, LED lights are quickly becoming more favored as not only are they more energy efficient, but they also last longer and can be used for various different applications.
