Tooth whitening kits that you take home from the dentist to use at home take an average of four or five weeks to work. The dentist will make a tray to fit your mouth using impressions of your teeth. You apply the bleach to the tray and put it in your mouth periodically at home.

The Results

You can never completely change the natural shade of your teeth, but teeth whitening will give you a much whiter shade of your natural colour, hopefully leaving you with a bright, confident smile.
