For a lot of women these days, their lives are becoming increasinly busy, either from working long hours at a hectic job or at home raising kids and looking after the family. Sometimes they might even be taking on both these responsibilities! This can leave very little time to look after your appearance, and most importantly, your skin.

But even if you are one of these 'SuperMums', don't despair. There are a number of tactics and techniques you can employ to make sure your skin care regime still gets the full attention that it deserves. Freeing up time can go a long way, but sometimes that just isn't possible and thus you need quick solutions to help you look after your skin adequately.

Firstly lets briefly look at some ways to take the stress out of your schedule and gain more time during the day to let you look after yourself. One idea for those with young children is to organise playdates. If you have friends with similar aged children, draw up a roster, and once a week have one of the mothers take the kids to a place or activity that they will enjoy. If you have 3 other mothers in your group, that's 3 out of every 4 weeks that you get a day off from your child.

When the kids are at home, teaching them to do little chores can help free up your time, as well as keep them occupied. Doing chores yourself, during the commercials of a tv show can allow you more time later to look after your skin and other beauty treatments.

Whether or not you can free up more time in the day, there are a number of strategies you can implement for your active skin care regime, and help you to look younger and fresher. One way to rejuvenate tired and dull skin is by creating a home made face mask. You can improve your skin tone with a mask made of yoghurt and mashed banana. Letting it sit for 30 minutes will help improve your skin tone and leave the pores feeling invigorated.

Other masks can be purchased which also have very positive effects. The Magneteyes under eye mask is an easy-to-use system whereby pads sit under your eyes. These stay on for 30 minutes a day and you can be doing other tasks during that time such as reading, working and watching tv. They contain active ingredients such as sorbitol, cellulose and silicone oil, and help to reduce bags and the dark rings under your eyes.

A simple facial or eye mask can do wonders to helping your skin look and feel fresher. The best thing is that they are easy to apply and lets you carry on with your day to day tasks while they work. If you are an active person with little time to look after your skin, these options can be perfect for you.
