Living in other countries does, of course, have good sides and bad sides. The good sides are the satiation of wanderlust - that you can be endlessly moving about, seeing new sights and experiencing new things. You can do jobs that you never thought you would do, such as copywriting shanghai.
The other good parts to living abroad can be the food. Every day can be a new culinary experience, and you can find yourself having breakfast with the locals, comfortably ordering the right foods, with the right accent and tone. Dumplings, noodles, curries, sushi... the list can be endless. But you may want to be careful of what you eat, otherwise you may find yourself tucking in to something that you would normally not. Research may tell you what to prepare for, but you could still accidentally eat pig brain, or pigeon bum.
Reading books is also a good way to prepare yourself for what to eat, and also what to expect. As well as eating strange things, you may want to be careful of the exact source and type of product. You may be used to eating fine organic delights, each lovingly grown and then slaughtered by an earnest and backwards farmer. However on moving to a new country, you may not know that the animals eat terrible things, before you eat them.
So take care with what is on your plate, and what is in your mouth, or you may find yourself on the toilet more frequently that you are used to.
