Anyone who has access to a house, car or business must have a key to open it which therefore probably comes with an accompanying keyring and if it doesn’t, it could. In fact many carry around huge bunches of keys with numerous keyrings all piled together so as not to lose them or so as to find them easily at the bottom of an oversized handbag. Another reason many attach keyrings to their house or car keys is to express their support for anything from certain pop groups to brands of cars or even specific charities.

The truth is that people pretty much hang any type of keyrings from their car keys especially if they are free. This consequently highlights the potential of publicity through the repartition of keyrings with the name and number of your company, charity or whatever it is you wish to advertise free with the purchase of one of your products or the contracting of one of your services. Not only will this save you money on regular publicity, but it also offers an innovative alternative to the typical leaflet distribution. The keyring will also reach a wider audience as car or house keys are used several times daily in the presence of numerous people.

The gesture of handing them out free perhaps in a box at a petrol station for people to pick up whilst they are refueling or on the counter of your shop, gives the customer the impression that they are getting something for nothing, when really they are advertising your cause for free on a regular basis every time they reach for their car keys. It is worth considering when deciding on how to advertise, bearing in mind that whilst normal leaflets may promptly end up in the bin, a keyring has a much longer life span.

At Lyons Presentations we can offer a range of products from button badges to keyrings to meet all our client’s needs.
