Cars are not only a mode of transport in today's world. It has much important functions in its owners life style than a mode of transport. People are often assessed according to their belongings such as mobile phones, cars, house etc. The properties owned by a person has a major effect in getting him noticed among public.

There are two situations where a car is leased. One is the situation where a person needs a car, with full authority over it until the expiry of the lease period, and they are not in a situation to buy a car. This happens mostly in cases of tourists who are in need of a car for a short period of time, for their use, and they find it beneficial and economical to lease a car than to buy one for them. Another situation is where a person decides to lease a car, even though he has a car owned by himself, but not matching his temporary needs or status. Such leases are often made by business men in-order to attend business meetings in style, which their car may at times don't provide.

These types of car leases are mostly based on the luxury and style of the cars. The people who lease the car and attend such functions and meetings, get noticed, and definitely gets an impression among the people. Car leasing is beneficial at times. But there are certain risks too. A leased car is always a liability to the person who leases it. Any damage occurred during the lease period has to be compensated by him at the time of return itself. While in the case of self owned cars, damages can be settled as per our ease of time and preference. More over if it is self owned car, we can claim an insurance too, which the leased car owner may not agree to. Another risk is regarding the reputation among business meetings. Even though rare chances , while attending a business meeting with a rented car, if anyone identifies the car brought is a rent a car property, the reputation may go negative too.

As an overall opinion, we can say business car leasing is a good practice according to situations and needs
