Sign of Recession? Franchises Went Bankrupt during the time
According to a recent article on Yahoo! Finance, there are a couple of franchises went bankrupt during the time. Some of these are fairly famous in the Franchise industry, including Mrs. Fields from Salt Lake City, Utah
Cork and Olive from Tampa
Bennigan's from Plano, Texas
Dial-A-Mattress from Long Island City, N.Y.
Bally Total Fitness from Chicago
Fatburger from Santa Monica, Calif.
Buffets Inc. from Eagan, Minn.
It was mentioned that "When these well-known brands went bust, franchise owners were left to soldier on with a tarnished brand."
